    Here are the steps that I have taken from your fix suggestions. 1/ My PowerPoint version is 1908 (build 11929.20708 Click to run). Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus. 2/ Only the one specific presentation has the issue. The older presentations opens fine as does a new presentation. 3/ Same as above for online.

    I am using office 365, PowerPoint 2016 on a Windows 10 Desktop. I have a blank slide on which I've placed multiple pictures. I followed the directions on the Microsoft web page and used the "control click" option to select all the pictures and then insert them in the slide.

    It might be cropped. Double click on the picture with the left mouse button and see if the crop icon appears in the top ribbon. Otherwise click on the picture to select it, this will launch the picture tools tab, click format and to the left in the adjustments group click the drop down arrow on the reset icon and select reset picture and size.

    Select your picture, on the contextual tab format, in the picture style group, click picture shape button, choose the rounded rectangle.     I have included 2 screen captures that a colleague has sent -- she is the end user and she feels that the type is blurry when the slide is viewed on a small laptop screen. NOTE: the images are high resolution jpegs, inserted properly with the compression settings not resizing. When you zoom in 300% the letters are crisp.
