I noticed that the Mac Mini costs more to upgrade from its base system to the Pro than the MacBook Pro does from its base system to the Pro. I think this is due to Apple pricing the base Mac Mini as a loss leader. Also, it is quite crazy that you can buy two base Mac Mini for less than the price of a base Mac Mini with double the memory/storage.
