The Overseas Filipino Bank (OFB) was established in 2017 by PRRD’s Executive Order 44 and launched shortly after as a wholly-owned savings bank of LandBank. PRRD inadvertently set up OFB to fail. In what may be an ironic twist, it will be declared OFW Month next month, December, and the AKSYON Center in Makati will be inaugurated.
