MCC-Blue River campus is in Independence, Missouri. The campus opened in 1997. As of Fall 2022, the campus serves about 2,000 students per semester. In addition to a host of general education programs, MCC-Blue River is home to a well-regarded cybersecurity program. The Metropolitan Chorale of Kansas City is based at Blue River.

University Park Golf Course, the only community college-owned golf course in the State of Michigan, opened in 1968 and is located across from the main campus at the northeast corner of the intersection. The Academic Complex was designed by Alden B. Dow. It features an enclosed court and two wings, with Four-Mile Creek flowing underneath.
The school also has training programs — associate degrees in applied science and certificates — for students who want to enter the workforce. The college also offers continuing education courses for community members. The University Center at MCC is a partnership with several public universities that offer degree programs on MCC's campus.
Enrollment at MCC has increased since its founding in 1981. In 2008, Mohave Community College placed 24th nationally among community colleges in enrollment growth.
