Heroes to Zeros is the third and final studio album by The Beta Band, released in 2004.It was produced by The Beta Band and mixed by Nigel Godrich.. The cover illustration was created by comic book writer and artist Kaare Andrews.
Producer Nigel Godrich was called in to mix the album, which was finally completed in early 2004. Lead single, "Assessment", was released on 12 April 2004, followed by the album Heroes to Zeros on 26 April. One of the tracks, "Liquid Bird" is based on a sample of "Painted Bird" by Siouxsie and the Banshees. [6]
The Best of the Beta Band - Music and The Best of the Beta Band - Film are retrospective best of collections by The Beta Band, on CD and DVD respectively, released on 3 October 2005. The cover artwork combines elements from the covers of each of the three EPs and three albums released by the band in its seven-year lifespan.
Most of each of the videos is computer-animated, and each video lasts as long as the studio versions of each song, making them very lengthy. They can all be found on the DVD inside the physical release of This Binary Universe, and all of the videos were put onto iTunes not long after the release of the album. The track listing is:
