The TV Today Network is an English-Hindi Indian news television network based in India. The TV Today Network was incorporated in 1988, launching a video magazine called Newstrack. [3] At that time, private television broadcasting was prohibited in India. [4] Newstrack produced its programmes on videotape and distributed them to subscribers.
The channel was launched in 2003 as a sister channel of the Hindi Aaj Tak news channel. It is one of the four news channels from the TV Today Network stable, the others being Aaj Tak, Tez and Delhi Aaj Tak. The complaint was filed by TV Today network which owns Aaj Tak, India TV and TV18. According to the complaint, Republic Bharat had declared its genre as Hindi news, but it was being added in additional genres.
