The Jewish Museum of Maryland is located at 15 Lloyd Street in Baltimore and is a 10-minute walk from the National Aquarium in the Inner Harbor. The museum is closed for Jewish festivals and holy days: Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret, Simchat Torah, first two and last two days of Passover, and Shavuot.

[3] [6] The effort to preserve Lloyd Street was the impetus for the founding of the Jewish Historical Society of Maryland, now the Jewish Museum of Maryland. [7] [1] Baltimore architects Robert Cary Long, Jr. and William Reasin designed the building in the fashionable Greek Revival style. [3]
Townsend House & Pullen Museum, Catonsville, closed in 2021 when the Catonsville Historical Society dissolved and sold the building. [35] U.S. Army Ordnance Museum, Aberdeen, closed Maryland museum location in 2010, moving to Fort Lee (now Fort Gregg-Adams), Virginia, outdoor exhibits still on display [36]

The EDCJCC also houses the Hyman S. and Freda Bernstein Library, which includes a Jewish Heritage Video Collection, a children's reading collection, and a collection of genealogy books and materials. It is a constituent organization of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington, serving Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
