Connemara National Park (Irish: Páirc Naisiúnta Chonamara) is one of eight national parks [1] in Ireland, managed by the National Parks and Wildlife Service. It is located in the northwest of Connemara in County Galway, on the west coast. [2] [3]

They undertake protection and conservation of Ireland's heritage (specifically buildings and historic sites).
The first reserves were established under the 1976 Wildlife Act. They are designated and managed by the National Parks and Wildlife Division of Duchas and Department of Culture, Heritage and Gaeltacht. All these designated reserves are Natural Heritage Areas (NHAs), with some of them also listed as Special Areas of Conservation (SACs). [2]
