[1] The city's population was 386,261 at the 2020 United States Census with 336,035 residing in Arapahoe County, 47,720 residing in Adams County, and 2,506 residing in Douglas County. [6]
It regularly hosts USA Rugby national championship matches and has also played host to the Churchill Cup in 2009 and 2010 which is the premier North American International Rugby Tournament. In July 2008, the city opened a 35,000-square-foot (3,300 m 2 ) recreation and sports center that is managed by the YMCA of Metropolitan Denver. [ 17 ]
