Shrewsbury Township is a township situated in the Jersey Shore region, within Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 1,076, [8] a decrease of 65 (−5.7%) from the 2010 census count of 1,141, [17] [18] which in turn reflected an increase of 43 (+3.9%) from the 1,098 counted in the 2000 census.
