In 2007-08, East Berkshire College had 11,078 students enrolled, most part-time. [3] In September 2016, a merger with Strode's College was announced, which was due to be completed in February 2017. [4] East Berkshire College formally merged with Strode's College on 9 May 2017 to form the Windsor Forest Colleges Group. [5]
Sparsholt (/ˈspɑːʃəʊlt/) is a village and civil parish in Hampshire, England, 2 + 1 ⁄ 2 miles (4 km) west of Winchester. In 1908 its area was 3,672 acres (1,486 ha). [1] The 2011 Census recorded its population as 982. [2] The parish also includes the hamlet of Dean, Farley Mount Country Park and Crab Wood SSSI. [citation needed]
The Hard Brock Café is a main social attraction for many college students and also holds the offices of the Students' Union. The café provides hot and cold meals, quick snacks, drinks and ice creams. LRC (Learning Resources Centre) The LRC was originally the college main hall and is now the main study area for students at Brock.

In June 2008, the college was again in the local newspaper after over 200 pupils were suspended following a protest on the school field against an extension of 20 minutes to the school day, and the plans to force the entire school of 1,300 students to queue all at once. 117 children were excluded for the rest of the week.
