The city is at the intersection of routes 17 and 42.Route 17 leads northwest 15 miles (24 km) to Tuscumbia, the Miller county seat, and south 11 miles (18 km) to Crocker, while Route 42 leads west 18 miles (29 km) to Lake of the Ozarks State Park and northeast 22 miles (35 km) to Vienna.
