Since 1987, the Southlake Carroll Dragons football team has been one of the premier high school programs in Texas. In the 37 seasons between 1987 and 2022, the team has reached the state quarterfinals 23 times, the final four six times, the finals twice, and won the state championship eight times, posting an overall record 440-69-2 in that time.

Todd Russell Dodge (born July 21, 1963) is an American football coach and former player, and current head coach at Lovejoy High School in Lucas, Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin where he played quarterback for the Longhorns, Dodge went into coaching, primarily at the high school level.
