Jon Barinholtz is an American actor, comedian, and producer based in Los Angeles. He has appeared in film and television, and is best known for the role of Marcus White on the NBC sitcom Superstore and Wesley Payne on the NBC sitcom American Auto.

The Cloud 9 store heating system malfunctions, which amplifies the negative attitudes of all the employees. Amy discovers a yogurt spill and asks Marcus, who was recently promoted to the warehouse, to clean it up. When he starts giving her attitude, Amy fires Marcus.
Meanwhile, the employees play a version of laser tag with the new Cloud 9 scanners. Also, Mateo learns that Marcus is homeless and lives in the Cloud 9 stock room. Mateo lets slip that he is undocumented, and worries about how well Marcus will hide the secret.
During the first half of Superstore‘s two-part series finale, Amy and the employees stumbled upon a duffel bag full of feet — the latest instance of severed limbs turning up at Store 1217.
Mateo visits the store and immediately finds himself fixing others' mistakes, ending up working an unpaid day. Glenn and Cheyenne get annoyed with Mateo as he begins to take things too far. Meanwhile, Jonah is forced to hang out with Marcus and the rest of the warehouse crew to get them back on the side of unionizing.
