MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -West Virginia University football coach Neal Brown has announced that Ryder Burton, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound, redshirt freshman quarterback from Springville, Utah, has signed a grant-in-aid and will transfer to WVU from BYU. He will have four years of remaining eligibility.
West Virginia plays host this Saturday at 7 p.m. to BYU presented by WVU Medicine. The Mountaineers' matchup with the Cougars will be the annual True Blue and Military Appreciation Game. All fans in attendance are encouraged to wear blue to the game.
