WOAY-TV (channel 4) is a television station licensed to Oak Hill, West Virginia, United States, serving the Bluefield–Beckley–Oak Hill market as an affiliate of ABC.It has been locally owned by the Thomas family since its inception, and its studios and transmitter are co-located on Legends Highway in Scarbro, just outside the Oak Hill city limits (though with an Oak Hill mailing address).
In 1917, the community was subjected to "about a dozen" murders during a short period of time. A special grand jury was convened to investigate the incidents, and the community itself formed what they referred to as a "mob", posting notices threatening to "get bloodhounds and detectives and run [the murderer] to the ends of the earth."
West Virginia Route 108 is the designation given to a highway currently open that is intended to be a part of Interstate 73 (I-73) and I-74. The first section opened near Bluefield .
