Ohio Crank does good work. they are located in my hometown of Greenville, Ohio. They took over the old Stan Ray business 15 years ago or so. I know quite a few guys running their stuff and are happy with it. They supply a lot of rotating assemblies to the guys who race up at Eldora.
Do a search on the Racing junk forum as I can say first had we had 2 SBC cranks in the shop 2 years ago and they loked dam nice till you put a mic on the journals, one crank the front main journal had .005 taper and the rest were big at the radius and small in the middle, Bothe cranks were under the low side and when I called Chuck I ased how the could machine them so far out of spec and he ...

$425.00 crank and rod set from Ohio Crank Shaft, Stock Block and a real small roller cam and 10.1 compression motor with Brodex IK200's out of the box, cheap dual plane intake and and a BG 650 dp carb.
manley would be the choice but i have a 565 makin 1021 hp using ohio;s nitrous 6.535 see;in up by 8k on reg basis alot. speaking of which motors not been apart since 08 guess i better give it a once over before i dump it in the new car next year.
ran an ohio crank in my 306, logged lots of street miles and a few track passes without a problem, they did the full balance job for me. i good friend has one in his 467, it was balanced by someone else but the crank is ohio crankshaft and he has no issues. i know lots of people running them becuase there local to me.
