Homatropine methylbromide is an abuse prevention additive (its to stop you trying to get high on it). Homatropine is an anticholinergic but most of its action is limited to crappy side effects (headache, blurred vision and dry mouth are common). Doses up to 20mg should be safe enough and give you a fair high if your opiate-naive.
IME and IMO hycodan/hydromet is the best hydrocodone syrup. a lot of people will say that tussionex is, but i have done both tussionex and hycodan/hydromet and the latter wins out. tussionex has a lot of hydro but its time released and can not be defeated, so you have to take more than you normally would and IMO this increases the chance of OD
So I am having a little bit of trouble with the dosing information on my hycodan syrup im not asking for a dose to take just simply what it means. Bottle reads hydrocodone syrup with cpd Then it says either .5 or 5-1.5/5 And #120 on the bottle I simply want to know how much hyrdocodone would...
I know its old but it will probably help others in the future if i post this about Hycodan. I know a decent amount about this cough syrup. its not a codeine syrup like someone mentioned its much stronger. Its 5mg of hydrocodone for every 5ml. Most prescriptions are for 4oz and that contains 120mg of hydrocodone.
Now I just found some - Hycodan Hydrocodone bitartrate 1 mg / per 1 ml syrup - And I was wondering on how I would dose this. Some people say its weaker then codeine others say its not. I have read some past reports on the same thing and I understand that the Canadian version of this syrup is pure Hydrocodone - correct? no other things mixed in it.
I have never heard of Hycodan pills. I "get a bad dry cough" 3-4 times a year and they always give me 240ml of the syrup. If that is all I plan on doing that day, I will drink 1/2 a bottle and then sip about 50 more thru the day. I like the hycodan buzz. It is a little different than eating my norcos.
Scopolamine was used as an anaesthetic in the past with Morphine in a formulation called 'Twilight Sleep.' I don't think it is marketed anymore, but I'm sure an anaesthesiologist could concoct it. I have ample experience with Hycodan syrup, which contains Hydrocodone 5mg/ml and a small amount of hyoscyamine.
I know this is old but i have just recently been abusing this stuff since i had access to 4 bottles over the past month of hydromet syrup. I drank the entire bottle after researching which is 120mg of hydro and 24mgs of Homatropine. At this dose teh only side effects besides the high from hydrocodone was slight dry mouth nothing else.
I don't know much about disassociatives. Back in the day, the best cough syrups available were either Hycodan or Tussionex. In the US, both are Schedule III narcotics and each contains Hydrocodone. We used to fill a shot-glass with either of them, chug it down, crack a Heineken, and smoke a joint.
In fact, the more I used, the more dysphoric the experience became. As I attempted to drift off to sleep, I started having closed-eye visuals and hearing wierd music, voices and other random noises. I never could get to sleep. Other opioids can cause this phenomenon; it's known as 'Yen sleep.' I've experienced it from morphine and Hycodan syrup.
