This installs Realtek Driver Version 10.28.1002.2018 under Windows 10. This caused the issue. Deinstall the driver in control panel or switch it back to Windows native in the Driver Settings. Be aware, when your system is already in a failed state (USB not working), it is not possible the deinstall the driver. You have to make a clean boot before.
