I have an Amazon Prime Store Card through Synchrony Bank. I received a physical card, however, the credit is only good on Amazon. I started with a $1,300 CL and after a little over a year, I have a $3,400 CL. The best feature of the card is I receive a 5% back as a store credit on everything I purchase.
Should I cancel my Synchrony Bank Amazon Secured Card? So as some know I am new to credit after a 20+ year absence, I have been studying and reading a lot on this forum, youtube (yes I know) and reddit. I have 4 cards - 2 are unsecured, a Cap1 with a $300 CL and a Chase Freedom Rise with a $500 CL. I also have 2 Secured Cards, a Discover with a ...

Amazon Prime Store Card. Approved for a Amazon Prime Card CL $1800. This card has a 5% back on purchases. It is through Synchrony.
As I contemplate my next credit moves 14 months out of my BK7 DC, I am considering many options for the future. One card/bank I cannot seem to catch a break with is Synchrony. I am an Amazon Prime member, I order pretty frequently (I even have a couple items finishing their 6-month equal pay plan), and I like the service.
If things like CLI are important to you, I would go for the Synchrony card. Both the Chase and Sync cards offer 5% on Amazon. The other rewards on the Chase card (2% dining, gas, etc) are irrelevant really since you can get 2% back on all purchases with other products. So since you really should only use it for Amazon anyway, go with Sync.
Re: Amazon Sync. $3.5k to $5k CLI! Congrats on the big CLI! When I had that card I never did get a CLI. 2025 Plans - Close everything except USB AR and open USB Smartly, there is a small chance I keep my AMEX Business Marriott for the hidden business credit line. Closed so far: FTF 35k, BECU 40k, WF Autograph 22k.
Amazon Prime Store Card - Synchrony Question. I'm already a prime member and thinking of applying for the Amazon Prime Store Card. The special financing is attractive along with the $100 gift card upon approval and 5% cash back. Not really interested in the Visa versions and I'm not a Whole Foods shopper.
Unless you take advantage of their 0% interest financing on larger purchases. But make sure those are paid off early. 5% statement credit can actually save you quite a bit. Plus, as they say give Synchrony a call and they provide good CLI's. Ask for $25,000 and they will counter if they want to approve for less.
