"Dola Re Dola" is a song from the 2002 Indian period romantic drama film Devdas, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, [1] and starring Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit. The song was composed by Ismail Darbar , with lyrics provided by Nusrat Badr , and sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy , Shreya Ghoshal and KK (backing vocals). [ 1 ]
It is a remix of 1988 song of same title from Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi, composed by Arun Paudwal and written by Shantaram Nandgaonkar. The music video of the track features Iranian-German actress Elnaaz Norouzi, alongside film leads Prathamesh Parab, Pranali Bhalerao, Komal Bodkhe, Ajinkya Raut and Akshay Kelkar. [2]
The soundtrack to the film featured four original songs, including a reprised version of one of the tracks. [1] Zee Music Company acquired the music rights for the film.
