Pointe Mouillee State Game Area (/ ˈ p ɔɪ n t m w iː ˈ j eɪ /; point mwee-YAY or moo-LAY) is a state game area in the U.S. state of Michigan. [2] It encompasses 7,483 acres (30.3 km 2) of hunting, recreational, and protected wildlife and wetland areas at the mouth of the Huron River at Lake Erie, as well as smaller outlying areas within the Detroit River.

The Lake Hudson State Recreation Area includes a semi-modern campground consisting of 50 campsites. The campground features electrical hookups but no sewer connections or shower facilities, and a hand pump is the only source of potable water. There are vault toilets in the campground, boating access site, and the day-use beach area.
Pinckney State Recreation Area is home to several campgrounds and many miles of hiking trails. Bruin Lake Modern Campground has 186 modern campsites. Electric service for recreational vehicles is provided along with modern restrooms. Other facilities at the campground include a boat launch, fishing and swimming areas and a playground. [2]
The heavily wooded Hoeft State Park sits on 1 mile (1.6 km) of Lake Huron shoreline and offers 144 campsites along with 4 miles (6.4 km) of hiking trails, hunting, playgrounds, a picnic pavilion and a lodge. The Huron Sunrise Trail bicycle path connects the park to Rogers City and the 40 Mile Lighthouse county park.
Yankee Springs State Recreation Area is a state-managed protected area located in Yankee Springs Township in Barry County, Michigan. The park is 5,200 acres (21 km 2) in area. It has 120 rustic, 200 modern and 25 equestrian camping sites, plus two cabins.
Sylvania Wilderness is an 18,327 acres (7,417 ha) protected area located a few miles west of Watersmeet Township, Michigan.Sylvania is located entirely within the bounds of the Ottawa National Forest, and is currently being managed as a wilderness area as part of the National Wilderness Preservation System by the U.S. Forest Service.
