Mahidol University International College (MUIC), Thailand's first international college, offers a range of international undergraduate and graduate programs. Its newest division is Fine and Applied Arts, which houses the Entertainment Media Program (EMP) and the Communication Design Program (CDP).
Now, MUIC offers a diverse range of 18 undergraduate majors and 24 minors in the Arts, Languages, Sciences, and Administration. Mahidol University International College also offered two master's degree programs, for approximately 3,200 students. The new building, Aditayathorn Building is completed in 2016.
In 1987, former president of Mahidol University, Prof. Dr. Nat Pamornprawat, established a project called the Music Education Development Project and appointed Dr. Sugree Charoensook to lead it. The program was initially offered at the Institute of Languages and Cultures for Rural Development as an elective course for undergraduate students.

Medical education in Thailand was pioneered by King Chulalongkorn, who founded the country's first medical school called the "School of Medical Practitioners" at Siriraj Hospital in 1889, now the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. A joint-degree "MD-M.Eng" 7-year program was introduced since 2020, in cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, and students receive an additional Master of Engineering (Biomedical Engineering) at the end of the program. [8]
