The Blackwater or Munster Blackwater (Irish: An Abhainn Mhór, The Great River) is a river which flows through counties Kerry, Cork and Waterford in Ireland. It rises in the Mullaghareirk Mountains in County Kerry and then flows in an easterly direction across County Cork through the towns of Mallow and Fermoy.

The Kells Blackwater (Irish: An Abhainn Dubh), [2] also called the River Blackwater [3] or Leinster Blackwater, [1] is a river that flows through the counties of Cavan and Meath in Ireland. It is a tributary of the River Boyne which flows into the Irish Sea at Drogheda .
Clare is north-west of the River Shannon covering a total area of 3,450 square kilometres (1,330 sq mi). [6] Clare is the seventh largest of Ireland's 32 traditional counties in area and the 19th largest in terms of population.
