Like the rest of the series, this season follows the member of the Four Emperors Monkey D. Luffy's adventures with his Straw Hat Pirates. The season adapts material from the "Egghead" arc, from the rest of the 105th volume onwards of the manga series of the same name by Eiichiro Oda .
One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year-old boy whose body has gained the properties of rubber from accidentally eating a supernatural fruit, and his crew of diverse pirates, the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy's greatest ambition is to obtain the world's ultimate treasure, One Piece, and thereby become the next King of the Pirates.
That said, Jinbe being a seasoned pirate with decades of experience adds a fresh new dynamic to the crew — for the first time there’s experience on board, gently guiding the crew to the One Piece.
