The last 2 giants standing after the PC wars of the late 90s were Gateway and Dell, prior to Dell being the number 1 PC company on the planet, it was all Gateway 2000. There is no denying that. As I was a part of that, it was very disheartening to see it's demise fall to simple minded corporate fat cats.
