The Hampden Football Netball League is an Australian rules football and netball league based in South-Western Victoria, with clubs located in towns along or near the Princes Highway from Camperdown to Portland. The league is a major country league.
On 26 May, Queen's announced that they would continue to play matches at Hampden Park for the forthcoming season, while utilising Lesser Hampden for League Cup fixtures. [2] Darren O'Donnell was announced as the club's new director of football on 31 May. [3]
The club teams currently compete in the Hampden Football Netball League. [1] The club is the result of an amalgamation of two of the founding clubs of the league –Terang FC and Mortlake FC– in 2001. Terang Mortlake debuted in the league in 2002.
During his last year at Mortlake, he was approached by the Hampden Football League to coach the combined country teams of the Hampden Football League. From 1963 to 1966 he had success which culminated in winning the 1966 Victorian Country Championship Grand Final. Hampden League defeated Ovens Murray League 14.7 (91) - 12.16 (88). [23]

Portland also transferred to the Hampden Football Netball League for 2013, leaving just 6 teams in the competition today. Casterton merged with neighbouring club Sandford (from the South West District Football League) in 2014. When the VFL had zoning from 1968 to 1986, the league was allocated to Collingwood.
