The White Bear Lake Area School District, [2] abbreviated WBLAS, is a public school district located in Ramsey County, Minnesota.It provides academic and educational services to the cities of Birchwood, Gem Lake, Hugo, Lino Lakes, Little Canada, Maplewood, North Oaks, Vadnais Heights, White Bear Lake and White Bear Township. For the academic years of 2019-2020, 2020-2021 and 2021-2022, White Bear Lake Area High School ranked 4543rd in the nation and 75th in Minnesota High Schools. The school district ranks 3,616th nationally and 49th within the state for their graduation rate.
The White Bear Lake school system includes nine elementary sites, two middle school sites, and two high school sites.
