nvidia-bug-report.log.gz (353.5 KB) LinuxGaming81734 March 7, 2024, 2:30pm 15. It looks like an issue with either the new kernel in KDE Neon 6, and whether or not nvidia’s driver properly installed with it, or that you are using wayland which sometimes has issues with nvidia’s driver.
The way KDE neon uses Grub2, and so, how one manages it, is significantly different than how it is used in Kubuntu and, I think, most *buntu and Debian based Linux distributions. I've contacted Jonathan Riddell and asked if there is a KDE neon Grub2 guide he can point me to.
I switched to Neon to be close to the leading (not bleeding) edge of KDE software releases. On their site is a button: PGP signature for verification There are no examples nor explanations for those who want to give it a try. Looking at similar efforts I first tried: $ gpg --verify neon-user-20230706-0717.iso.sig neon-user-20 ...
Going thru the Neon page gives you neon-user-20241010-1519, which may or may not be Noble. Still yet another question is, where do I get the sha256sum for the iso I can't find? PGP looks quite complicated.
The new KDE Neon Experimental was announced today for having experimental builds with pre-alpha KDE Frameworks 6 applications and the Plasma 6 desktop code. A new package called neon-settings-experimental has been added for KDE Neon users that point to this new archive. More details on the new KDE Neon Experimental archive and steps for ...
