God Eater (Japanese: ゴッドイーター, Hepburn: Goddo Ītā) is an anime adaptation of the God Eater video game. It is animated by Ufotable and began airing on July 12, 2015, after a one-week delay. It was later acquired by MVM Films in December 2017 to be released that year. [1]

An expansion titled God Eater 2: Rage Burst was released in Japan on the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4. It was released in Western territories in summer 2016 with North American and European divisions of Bandai Namco Entertainment publishing the game on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Microsoft Windows.
