Chowk-poorana or Chowkpurana is folk art practised in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Dayachand Mayna was a poet of Haryanvi language. [1] He is one of the important poets and folklore artists Haryana had ever produced.
