The list of trạng nguyên includes several notable figures in Vietnam's history, such as Mạc Đĩnh Chi (awarded 1304, in the reign of Trần Anh Tông) and Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm (awarded 1535, in the reign of Mạc Thái Tông). Miss Cosmo (mis•ˈkɒzmɒ) is an annual international beauty pageant organized by UNICorp and UNIMedia in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.It was founded in August 2023 under the leadership of Trần Việt Bảo Hoàng, with its inaugural competition held in October 2024.
At Miss Earth 2016, Nguyen Thi Le Nam Em - Miss Melkong Delta Vietnam 2015 represented Vietnam at the contest and reached the top eight results, this was Vietnam's second achievement at the contest. At Miss Earth 2017, Le Thi Ha Thu - first runner-up at Miss Ocean Vietnam 2014 reached the top 17, this was Vietnam's third achievement at the contest.
