Casiguran [ˌkaːsɪˈguːɾan], officially the Municipality of Casiguran (Tagalog/Kasiguranin: Bayan ng Casiguran; Ilocano: Ili ti Casiguran), is a municipality in the province of Aurora, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 26,564 people. [3] The municipality is home to the Amro River Protected Landscape.
The Regional Development Council of Cagayan Valley in its regular meeting held on December 12, 2018, requested the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for funding of a pre-feasibility study for a coastal highway in the region dubbed as the Cagayan Valley Eastern Seaboard Highway.
