Malaysia Rugby League Premier is the top flight of rugby union league in Malaysia. In 2023 the league went entirely professional which attracted many overseas players. Introduced in 2004, it was formerly known as MRU Super League, catered only to the top eight rugby union clubs in the country.

The MCKK Premier 7s is an annual under 18 rugby seven tournament between the premier and international schools rugby sevens teams. The tournament was first held in 2011 .The winners are awarded the NJ Ryan Cup, named after the last foreigner headmaster that lift up the school rugby team in the past.
Malaysia Rugby League Division 1 is the second tier of rugby union league in Malaysia. Formerly known as National Inter Club Championship (NICC), the league included various clubs from entire Malaysia, mostly the champions from the state league. The Malaysian Rugby Union (MRU) is the organizer of the league.

[ 2 ] There are sixteen unions, associations and councils affiliated to the Malaysian Rugby Union, more than 300 clubs, and 600 schools which teach the game. [ 3 ]
The Malaysia Sevens is an annual rugby union sevens tournament contested by national teams. The event was first hosted as a leg of the IRB World Sevens Series in 2001 and 2002 . [ 1 ]
The 2018–19 Premier 15s kicked-off on 18 September 2018. The tournament consisted of 18 rounds with the final being played on 27 April 2019. [1] [2] Saracens Women defeated Harlequins Ladies 33–17 in the finals and were crowned Champions. [3] [4] [5] [6]
