In software engineering, a walkthrough or walk-through is a form of software peer review "in which a designer or programmer leads members of the development team and other interested parties through a software product, and the participants ask questions and make comments about possible errors, violation of development standards, and other problems". A walkthrough is a scheduled meeting with the author in charge of the model or documents that are set to be reviewed. In addition to the authors, there is usually a group of senior technical staff and possibly business staff that help analyze the model. Typically, there is also a facilitator who is in charge of leading the meeting.
