Wonder World is a natural theme park located in San Marcos, Texas. The park's primary attraction is Wonder Cave , an ancient earthquake cave and Recorded Texas Historic Landmark . [ 1 ] Other attractions include an anti-gravity house, a trackless motor train, [ 2 ] and a wildlife park .
The park was founded in 1951 by Paul and Alathea Roads. [1] In 1969, several new rides were added that appealed to people of all ages, including a bumper car ride. On June 17, 2017, Morgan's Wonderland unveiled a major addition: the Morgan's Inspiration Island splash park. In 2020 the park closed after only 11 days into the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
