We don’t believe in any parallel power to God, like Satan. Satan and ‘evil’ isn’t a person, it’s a type of behaviour and attitude. No person is evil, only their actions can be. The important thing to understand is that everything is in Waheguru’s hukam or order.

Those Gursikhs who argue Keski is Kakkaar, argue the following: All the other Kakkaars are physical items and external uniform, whereas everyone is born with Kesh and Kesh cannot be “worn” as a uniform.
A Sikh lives in the grace and glory of God. The Kesh are magnificent. Biologically, physically and spiritually they do so much for us. Looking at the Kesh of a Sikh one sees the Sikh principle of “Living in the Will (Bhaanaa) of the Almighty.” The Kesh is a symbol of Sikhism and what the fundamental belief of Sikhs.
Sikhs that can give blood should be encouraged to give blood for the act of helping another’s life. There is no religious prohibition stopping one from giving or receiving blood. ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰੁ ਨਿਤ ਚਿਤਵਤੇ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਛੁ ਪੋਚ ॥੨॥
“Without meditating upon God (i.e. Naam-Simran), all other actions are useless. Mere lip recitation, penance, austere self-discipline and rituals are all snatched (as tax by Death) at the outset. ||1||Pause|| Fasting, daily rituals, and austere self-discipline – those who keep the practice of these cannot get even a penny in return.
There is a misconception amongst some Sikhs that the soul enters the body on 120th day. This belief is not supported by Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. According to Gurbani the soul dwells in the mother’s womb for 10 (Indian) months. ਬਿੰਦੁ ਤੇ ਜਿਨਿ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਕੀਆ ਅਗਨਿ ਕੁੰਡ ਰਹਾਇਆ ॥
Why and how do Sikhs bow before Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji? There is no difference between the Order and Word of God and God Himself. The Guru is not a physical body made of the five element, i.e. flesh & blood or ink and paper.
