Barron's [2] [3] (stylized in all caps) is an American weekly magazine/newspaper published by Dow Jones & Company, a division of News Corp, since 1921.. Founded as Barron's National Financial Weekly in 1921 by Clarence W. Barron (1855–1928) [4] as a sister publication to The Wall Street Journal, Barron's covers U.S. financial information, [5] market developments, and relevant statistics.
Clarence Walker Barron (July 2, 1855 – October 2, 1928) was an American financial editor and publisher who founded the Dow Jones financial journal, Barron's National Financial Weekly, later renamed Barron's Magazine. He was one of the most influential figures in the history of Dow Jones.
In 1921, Barron's, the United States's premier financial weekly, was founded. [28] Scharff described the newspaper in the Barron era as "Wall Street's public defender" against regulatory efforts by the U.S. Congress. [29] Circulation continued to rise, reaching 18,750 to 1920 and 52,000 briefly in 1928. [26]

Financial News is owned by Dow Jones & Company, which acquired eFinancial News in 2007.
