Makima (Japanese: マキマ, Hepburn: Makima) is a fictional character from Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga series Chainsaw Man. She is the main antagonist of Part 1, the "Public Safety Saga", and is the caretaker of main character Denji , promising him food and shelter if he comes under her care and threatening him with death otherwise.
He is brought to the authorities after Denji defeats him, and is later brainwashed by Makima alongside other hybrids to fight Denji. Following Makima's defeat, he works for Public Safety as part of Special Division 7 after striking a deal to rebuild his Yakuza, but later defects to Yoru after learning her agenda to defeat Chainsaw Man.

Denji helps her recover, but Aki, possessed by the Gun Devil, attacks them. In the ensuing battle, Denji kills Aki, devastating both him and Power. Later, Power was shot by Makima in front of Denji, to break his spirit. Power revives as the Blood Devil from Denji's blood at Pochita's request to save Denji, but is fatally wounded by Makima again.
