In 2024’s "Transformers One", where he is voiced by Steve Buscemi, Starscream was a High Guard leader who was hiding on the surface of Cybertron after Sentinel Prime's betrayal. Starscream’s forces captured miners Orion Pax, D-16, B-127, and Elita-1 after they escaped an ambush by Sentinel Prime.
In the face of this rebellion and Sentinel's death, the High Guard are led by D-16, now renamed Megatron, who orders them to destroy all Iacon.
