The forerunner of DSSN was the Stridsskytterligaen organized between 1974 and 1979. The International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) was founded in May 1976 at the Columbia Conference in Missouri, USA, and the Norwegian Association for Practical Shooting (Norges Forbund for Praktisk Skyting, NFPS) was formally established in 1979 as IPSC Norway.
The Model 3000 was available in 12 and 20 gauge, chambering 2 + 3 ⁄ 4 or 3 in (7.0 or 7.6 cm) shotshells. [1] A "slug gun" variant chambered for 2 + 3 ⁄ 4-inch shells with a magazine extension and a shorter barrel was offered in 12 gauge only, with optional open sights.
Kim Leppänen (born 12. April 1989) is a Finnish sport shooter who won the 2015 IPSC Shotgun World Shoot Manual division title, [1] and was part of the Finnish Manual National Team together with Jaakko Viitala, Ari Matero and Mikael Ekberg which placed first in the team classification.
