Trinity Episcopal School is a K-8 independent co-ed day school in Austin, Texas. The school was founded in 1999 in a rented blue house near the University of Texas campus. Since that inaugural year, the school has grown from 13 students to more than 500, moved to a 15-acre (61,000 m 2 ) campus in West Lake Hills and built seven buildings.
The cost of the initial building was $10,000. It became solely owned by the City of Austin when Travis County ended its share of the ownership in 1907. A 45-bed replacement building opened in 1915. In 1929 the Austin City Council renamed the hospital after hospital board chairperson Robert J. Brackenridge. [3]
Trinity ISD is a public, K-12 school district located approximately 80 miles (130 km) northeast of Houston, Texas, and encompasses a geographic area of 142 square miles (370 km 2). The district serves approximately 1174 students (as of Fall 2006), and shows a slow growth in enrollment over the past decade.
