The ship remained in operation for Cape Canaveral Cruise Line until September 2000 when it was forced out of service because it needed 3.5 million dollars in required maintenance. [2]

Federico C operated cruises exclusively from 1972 until 1983, when the ship was sold. [7] In 1983, Premier Cruises obtained the ship and named it Royale; it became StarShip Royale in the same year. In 1988, the ship was renamed SeaBreeze when it was placed in service for Dolphin Cruise Lines. One year later, the ship had been refurbished.
RMS Transvaal Castle was a British ocean liner built by John Brown & Company at Clydebank for the Union-Castle Line for their mail service between Southampton and Durban.In 1966 she was sold to the South Africa-based Safmarine and renamed S.A. Vaal for further service on the same route.
