The Dallas Stars have announced their 2024-25 schedule, opening in Nashville on Oct. 10 and then playing their home opener at American Airlines Center on Oct. 12 against the New York Islanders.
The 2024–25 Dallas Stars season is the 58th season (57th season of play) for the National Hockey League (NHL) franchise that was established on June 5, 1967, and the 32nd season since the franchise relocated from Minnesota prior to the start of the 1993–94 season.

In 1993, amid further attendance woes and bitter personal controversy, Green obtained permission from the league to move the team to Dallas, for the 1993–94 season, with the decision announced on March 10, 1993. The team started as Minnesota North Stars when the NHL expanded in 1967. The North Stars later relocated from Minnesota to Dallas before the 1993–94 season.
