Todd Steven Hodne (April 23, 1959 – April 29, 2020) was an American football linebacker and convicted rapist and murderer from Wantagh, Long Island, New York.. Hodne gained notoriety for a series of sexual assaults he committed while attending Penn State University, as well as in his hometown afterward; he committed at least twelve rapes and sexual assault attacks between 1978 and 1979.
Following his 1999 retirement from Penn State, he continued working with the Second Mile at Penn State and maintained an office at the university until 2011. In 2011, following a two-year grand jury investigation, Sandusky was arrested and charged with 52 counts of sexual abuse of young boys over a 15-year period from 1994 to 2009. [ 5 ]
