Final Destination 3 is a 2006 American supernatural horror film directed by James Wong. A standalone sequel to Final Destination 2 (2003), it is the third installment in the Final Destination film series. Wong and Glen Morgan, who worked on the franchise's first film, wrote the screenplay.
Final Destination is an American horror franchise consisting of six films, ten novels, and two comic books composed of six issues in total. Each medium features a protagonist who experiences a premonition of themself and several others dying in a catastrophic accident, only to escape the event with a handful of other characters moments before it turns into a reality.
