Serangoon Garden Estate is a residential estate in the Serangoon district of the North-East Region of Singapore. It is also commonly known as "Ang Sar Lee" ( 红砂厘) for historical reasons, referring to red zinc roofs of the houses in the estate.

Serangoon (/ s ə ˈ r æ ŋ ɡ uː n / sə-RANG-goon) is a planning area and residential town located in the North-East Region of Singapore. Serangoon is bordered by these planning areas – Sengkang to the north, Hougang to the east, Ang Mo Kio and Bishan to the west, as well as Toa Payoh to the south.
In early 1957, Archbishop Olçomendy purchased a 5-acre plot of land in the Serangoon Garden Estate. Originally planned to house British military forced based in Singapore, the area housed around 15,000 people back in the 1950s.
