Using arbitrary numbers, if 40% of kids from Ivy school X land gigs at Joe Blow bank, and 10% of kids from Kelley do, but you have to pay $50k per year at X, and Kelley is free, you might want to take Kelley and take the chance that you'll be in that top 10%, still land at Joe Blow bank, and do it all for free.

  3. IU Kelley Prestige - Wall Street Oasis

Kelley is not one of the most prestigious UG bschools and is below UNC, UT, USC, and ND. Kelley definitely outperforms given IU's overall lack of prestige but should not be chosen over the other top UG bschools or more prestigious universities without a business major. Reply. Quote.

5y. Kelley is a competitive program but IU when compared to other highly regarded public universities with good business schools fall short. This is not just some kind of bias but admissions stats actually back it up: Indiana: Percent Admitted: 77%, Yield: 24%. Michigan: Percent Admitted: 24%, Yield: 43%.

Rutgers Business vs. IU Kelley. geyejoh. IB. Subscribe. So, IU Kelley gave me an 11K scholarship and I was ready to commit until I got into the Honors College at Rutgers (in-state tuition). If I chose to go to Rutgers, I would end up paying no more than $10,000 per year overall, whereas Kelley would cost me around $40 K with everything considered.

Mainly looking to chose between three schools, Indiana University (Kelley), Georgia Tech (Scheller), UGA (Terry). I am a Georgia Resident so from a financial perspective Scheller and Terry are the better options; Kelley would set me back 50k a year whereas GT and UGA would be ~ 10k. But from a roughly objective point of view, does anyone have ...

    - Kelley has I-CORE, which is one semester with a set of 5 classes that integrate with each other and culminate in the capstone case competition with the entire class. I really enjoyed this aspect of the curriculum. - IU basketball - The Kelley undergrad career services office is on point.

    3. UIUC (Gies College of Business) PROS – High ranked accounting program (even better than Wharton), pretty much the same cost as IU ($35k per annum, no scholarship), decent overall reputation of the university. CONS - Much more renowned for engineering programs than business, pretty slim chances of cracking IB at NYC. 4. Northeastern.

  10. PSU Smeal vs. IU Kelley - Wall Street Oasis

    www.wallstreetoasis.com/forum/school/psu-smeal-vs-iu-kelley

IU Kelley is out of state for about 45 a year, and PSU Smeal is in state for about 25 a year. Not sure if this adds anything but got into the PSU Smeal Sapphire Leadership Program as well (I believe it gives students an edge to join the NLF). I have to work hard wherever, but wondering what school offers better recruiting opportunities (as I ...

4y. The IBW at Kelley is a great stepping stone into the world of investment banking. When recruiting begins for the IBW there are many factors they take into consideration besides good grades. One major area of criteria is your involvement on campus and initiative to take on leadership roles during your freshman year.
