The partially decomposed body of Ricky McCormick was discovered in a field in St. Charles County, Missouri on June 30, 1999. Sheriffs found two garbled hand-written notes – apparently written in secret code – in the victim's pockets, and these were handed over to the FBI for further investigation.

I went ahead and moved the article to Ricky McCormick's encrypted notes for now. If there is later consensus on a different title, we can move again if necessary. As for whether to title the article on the notes or the murder, the majority of sources seem to be focusing on the notes, much more so than the victim himself.
