Candelas released their first EP Kim Y Syniad in 2011. Since being signed to the label I Ka Ching in 2013 they have released two albums and three singles. Their first album featured songs in both Welsh and English and their second album is entirely sung in Welsh.

Philip Candelas, FRS [3] (born 24 October 1951, London, UK) [2] [4] is a British physicist and mathematician. [ 5 ] [ 6 ] After 20 years at the University of Texas at Austin, he served as Rouse Ball Professor of Mathematics at the University of Oxford until 2020 and is a Fellow of Wadham College, Oxford .
